Help?

Please US Army and Special Forces Vietnam vets I'm hoping someone will recognize who this person is who calls himself, "Bullwinkle" and claims to be an Ex SF Army soldier who served in Nam in 1969 and was in the Army for 7 years (See below Bullwinkle review). This person might also be a complete liar & never served but just in case he's not he's the 1st vet to ever disparage the life story of an incredible patriot and soldier Green Beret Captain Richard J. Flaherty.

He just left the worst review and score on our Amazon review page despite the fact that he never even read our book, "The Giant Killer." How do I know he didn't read it? One he's not listed by Amazon as a verified purchase and 2 he seems to think we claimed that the 3rd Special Forces group was stationed in Vietnam. NOT in one page in the book does it ever say that the 3rd was anywhere else back then but stationed in Thailand.

He then goes on to talk about how Captain Flaherty isn't a real person and never served due to his size. Just in case this is a real Vet we don't want to harass him but to tell him everything he said in the review is complete garbage. If anyone knows Bullwinkle please let us know. I will personally send Bullwinkle an actual copy of the book so he can educate himself and not disparage a man who earned a Silver Star, 2 Bronze Stars and 2 Purple Hearts! Please share this post!

1.0 out of 5 stars The 3rd Special Forces Group was never in VN

Reviewed in the United States on December 15, 2023

He did not serve in VN with the 3rd Special Forces Group.

Neither did anyone else because nobody from the 3rd SFG ever deployed to VN. Each group has it's "targeted locations" for deployments, and the reason for this is so the soldiers can learn the languages, customs, and history of the nation and it's peoples.

Not to mention the fact that a man that short would never have even been allowed to enlist in the Army, especially not for a combat arms MOS as an officer. Hell,he wouldn't even have been drafted because none of the uniforms would be small enough to fit him.

There are minimum height and weigh requirements for military service, and one reason for this aside from the uniforms not fitting,is a man that small would not be able to wear web gear, never mind pick up a wounded soldier wearing web gear with canteens, ammo pouches, grenades, etc, etc, etc, and carry him off a battlefield to a place where a helicopter could land to medi-evac him.

It just didn't happen.

BTW,I served in the US Army for 7 years,5 of them in Special Forces, and was medi-evaced from VN in 1969.

Which causes me to question how accurate the book is.
