"6 l 1945 My beloved Parents, I am after my verdict - in a few hours or maybe minutes they will kill me. Please, do not despair. I dedicate my life for my country. God gave me really good last days, because I am spiritually strong. I have accepted the holy communion on the New Years day.
I am going to die reconciled with God. I am asking you, pray a lot for me ... Mother, take good care and bring up Krystyna and Stasieńka until my beloved Lusia comes back. Live happily with all the others. Goodbye and stay with God my dear in-laws, relatives.
Farewell little children, my little orphans, Farewell Bolek and Stefcio, brothers and sisters-in-law. My beloved Lusieńka, I will think about you for the rest of my life because only you, because you are the love of my life. Farewell, stay with God.
My spirit will always be with you and little children. Be strong, give my children my name, look after them, live carefree with God. I have a strong faith in God and the Virgin Mary. Stay with God. Husband, father, son, brother, son-in-law and brother-in-law. Kostek.”
